Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki, an American advisor to the political process, was the 34th White House Press Secretary from 2021-2022. As a member of Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) as well as spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN between 2017 and 2020. Psaki began her career as an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and later became governor of Iowa. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki worked from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was appointed the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 presidential election campaign. 20 February 13th, 2013, Psaki became spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The speculations that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary once he left for the White House[21] were fueled by her hiring at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30th the 30th of May, 2014. In the year 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and stayed through the end of the Obama administration.
